San Luis Potosí
Located to the North of a fertile earth, the flourishing industrial center of SAN LUIS POTOSI it must his existence and architectonic splendor to the wealth of mineral deposits, includes/understands one of the Colonial Treasures of the North of Mexico as well as the cities of Zacatecas and Guanajuato, the city has an important colonial center and is a good place to know if you travel of the North towards the center of Mexico or of the City from Mexico to the North of the country.
San Luis Potosí was founded like a Franciscana mission on 1592, but it was not but until the discovery of the deposits of gold and silver that initiated the development of the zone.
The name of San Luis occurred him, in honor to Luis XIV of France and Potosí because it was compared with the rich gold mines in Bolivia.
